I chose Winnie the Witch by Korky Paul and Valerie Thomas for juniors because it has big pictures in it and less words. It was also the winner of the children’s book awards. This book would be suitable for Year 1 through to Year 5. The child can read it with the parent or they can read it by themselves. This book is about a witch named Winnie who is very clumsy and does magic on her black cat. Children will enjoy this book because it is funny and also entertaining
I am a Year 8 student at Glen Innes School. I am in Room 11 and my teacher is Mrs Ramkolowan.

Hi yazmine.
This book looks very suitable for the younger children. Have you read it? what are your thoughts on this book? If you were a year 1 would you find this book difficult to read?
