Science experiment

Today we did a science experiment . It was about making dye out of vegetables. We used the following vegetables beetroot , onion skins , red silverbeet , turmeric powder and lastly slices of carrots. As you can see the beetroot was the brightest colour . The beetroot showed up well on the towel than the silk and the cotton.

This is a photo of me.  I had to make a puzzle of me, so I cut it in a square to look like a puzzle.  As you can see this is my face puzzle.

Rounding Off To A Tidy Number

I am learning to round off to a tidy number .  My problem is to round 524 to the nearest ten. My answer is 520. I knew that 4 is less than 5 so 524 rounded to the nearest ten is 520. It was really easy and I want to learn decimals.

I learnt how to download music on my netbook and learnt how listen to music while my teacher is talking . I learnt how to use padlet , padlet is a site where you write stuff on the wall and you can write about anything you have learnt and all. here is a picture of my padlet

I learnt how to do screenshots on my chromebook because at first i didn't know how to do it . I learnt how to do camera angles and zooming in and out , I learnt that from my teacher . My brother taught me how to download games on the computer . Mrs Grant taught the whole class including me how to be safe on the internet which is called cyber safety.

I also learnt to use studyladder for our learning . This is a picture of my studyladder

I learnt how to do comic strips and make it funny .

I have taught my friends how to do things that they ask me that they couldn't do and I would teach them. I taught them how to change the background on studyladder , put a callout on pictures ,
how to do screenshots and how to make a post on their blog.

I learnt how to comment on my friends blog this is something my friend wrote for me .

Still I am learning and I am excited to learn more on the internet.
