Report on Seagulls

I am learning about seagulls

seagulls are seabirds of the family named laridae for short it is called laris.

Seagulls are typically medium to large birds . They have really long wings so that they can fly anywhere they like. Without their wings they can't fly or go anywhere they want . Their wings are really important to them because they can fly everywhere and find food for them and their babies too.

Seagulls have a beak which is really sharp and can also cut you . They have a beak so that they can grab the food. Since seagulls have no hands they have a way of grabbing things with their beaks .

Today I shed a tear .

I shed a tear because I was really upset.

I was upset because My dad went overseas.

He went overseas to do a religious thing .

I didn't want him to go because I can’t Imagine being without him.

My dad was the best thing to me but I had to let him go.

The Sphinx - Ancient Egypt

What is a sphinx ?

A sphinx is a part of a lion's body and a head of a person. The sphinx was carved from bedrocks.

Why did the egyptians build them?

The egyptians built the sphinx to guard important areas such as tombs and temples.

A fact about the sphinx.

If you go past the sphinx it will ask you a question. If you get it correct it will let you past and if you answer it wrongly it will eat you and transform you into a mummies which is really scary.

Yazmin learns through Cartoons

I am learning direct speech through cartoons . We had fun doing these cartoons. Next time I hope we can do  a story in cartoons

I was learning to improve my times table .

I found the work easy to do. It was easy because all you have to do is choose a maths game and click on it and starts playing .

Next I want to learn about  science .

Yazmin at the beach

On a beautiful Saturday me and my 5 friends went to Mission Bay at 11:30 am in a shiny green van. first my mum and me went to pick my friends they told me where they lived and yeah we went to the beach.

When we reached Mission Bay me and my friends ran to the side where the sand was while my mum took out our towels and food.After a minute we got really bored and my idea was to make a sandman because it was december and it was nearly christmas and i wanted to do a snowman but out of sand so i thought of calling it a sandman.

Later we were halfway done cause we had to do the face and then we finished that was fun .

After all that we had to leave the sandman and pack up because my mum was waiting for me and my lovely friends to come home so there we went in the car. That was so cool and I wish I could go there again.
